Delft Tile Painting Workshop is operated by The Fun Group. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Dutch privacy law.
1. Data Controller
The Fun Group, with registered address at Herengracht 564, 1017 CH Amsterdam, is the data controller for personal data collected via this website.

2. Information We Collect
- Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and where applicable a postal address — provided when you book a workshop or send us a contact request.
- Booking Information: Date, time, group size, special requests, and payment confirmation — processed via our booking partner FareHarbor.
- Marketing & CRM Data: Information you submit through our private booking request form is stored in HubSpot for follow-up and quoting.
- Log & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL — collected via Google Analytics 4 if you accept analytics cookies.
- Cookies & Tracking Technologies: Used to enhance the website experience and measure traffic. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To process your booking and deliver the workshop.
- To communicate with you about your booking, send confirmations, reminders and follow-up.
- To respond to enquiries and quote private bookings.
- To improve our website and services through analytics.
- To send you marketing about our own similar experiences — including other activities from The Fun Group and its brands (Stroopwafel Workshop, Starboard canal cruises, FunAmsterdam and others) — by email, where you are an existing customer, unless you opt out. Where consent is required (for example marketing by WhatsApp, or marketing to people who are not existing customers), we only send it with your consent.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
- Your consent — for non-essential cookies, marketing by WhatsApp or other messaging channels, and marketing to people who are not existing customers.
- Contractual necessity — to perform the booking contract you have entered into with us.
- Legitimate interests — for analytics, service improvement, and sending existing customers marketing about our own similar products and services by email (the "soft opt-in" under Dutch ePrivacy and telecom rules), subject to your right to opt out at any time.
- Legal obligation — for tax, accounting and regulatory record-keeping.
5. Marketing Communications
We may contact you with offers about our own similar experiences:
- By email — if you have booked with us, we may email you about related experiences from The Fun Group and its brands, on the basis of our legitimate interest (the "soft opt-in"). You can opt out when you book and via the one-click unsubscribe link in every marketing email.
- By WhatsApp or other messaging channels — only where you have given your prior consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example by replying STOP.
As The Fun Group operates several related experience brands, we may use your contact details to tell you about relevant experiences across the group. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
6. Data Sharing & Third-Party Processors
We share your personal data only with trusted service providers, each bound by data processing agreements:

7. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers (e.g. Google, HubSpot, and Meta/WhatsApp where enabled) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to ensure your data remains protected to GDPR standards.
8. Data Retention
- Booking and contract data: retained for the period required by Dutch tax and accounting law (currently 7 years).
- Marketing contact data: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Analytics data: retained for up to 14 months in Google Analytics 4.
- Contact form enquiries: retained for up to 24 months unless they convert to a booking.
9. Your Data Protection Rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Data portability — receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- File a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

10. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, restricted access to systems, and contractual safeguards with all data processors.

We may update this privacy statement from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated on our website or by email where appropriate. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
